Dandelion delight!

Update: If you’re wondering about the sculptures, they’re by Harry Bertoia, and as was my lucky guess, the name is indeed Dandelion. Made for the 1964 New York World’s Fair.

Very nice. A must-have. I can even imagine to own the yellow flowers called “maskros” in swedish. Directly translated: wormrose.

In the fifties the Belgian firm Kunstwerkstede De Coene was allowed to produce Knoll furniture under license and became the Belgian department of Knoll. The original chairs with Knoll Belgium label are hard to find. You can find two models on this site: http://www.be-dsgn.com or this link: http://www.be-dsgn.com/be-dsgn/Saarinen_executive_chair_for_Knoll_De_Coene.html OR http://www.be-dsgn.com/be-dsgn/Saarinen_for_Knoll,_De_Coene_edition.html
